ABOUT RICK DURRENBERG:

Rick Durrenberg (also answers to DB) has been playing and writing songs regularly since his retirement in 2010.  He worked for the US Air Force for thirty years, half in uniform and half in civilian clothes followed by seven years in the US Forest Service in Montana and Reno Nevada.

His baritone/tenor voice is a combination of what you’d get mixing Jimmy Buffet and Jerry Reed with Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash for uncles.  He also sings classical music and Irish folk songs and recently sang for an Irish Music group in Southwestern Ohio.  He has appeared at numerous bars and street fairs and performed at the Ohio Celtic Fest in Harveysburg for their first three years.  He is currently working on Sixties folk music and recording an album of protest songs to be released sometime in the Fall of 2021 to include his own protest songs, Pay the Butcher’s Bill and I ProtestHe is self-contained gear-wise and is available to perform any time at reasonable rates.  He particularly enjoys playing for retirement homes and for children, where he passes out an ample supply of “kidstruments” so that everyone can have fun.  All of his work is copyrighted and of course any of it is available for licensing.  For further information or for booking, contact me at rickdurrenberg@gmail.com and write FLASH in the Subject line.
